Time Condition's Unknown State

We have The following

[root@freepbx ~]# amportal a ma list | grep framework
| framework | 14.0.3.17 | Enabled | GPLv2+ |

[root@freepbx ~]# cat /etc/schmooze/pbx-version
12.7.5-1807-1.sng7

That said in time conditions if we force the setting to non matching (override) it will redirect but for some reason this module has stopped being able to trigger on its own. and reports an Unknown State.

Sangoma FXO / FXS Card Won't Start + WebSocket Error

Hello
Recently we had a power outage and the Sangoma FXO / FXS card won’t initialize. The error message I’m getting is " DAHDi Doesn’t appear to be running. Click the ‘Restart DAHDi & Asterisk’ button below". When I do this, nothing happeneds. Also after doing a command line restart, I have the following errors on the FreePBX dashboard:

Invalid Websocket transport for zulu
Unable to enable websocket driver!

No conference room app
Neither app_meetme nor app_confbridge is configured in Asterisk, conferencing, paging and other functionality will not work properly

As a result I can’t make or receive incoming calls. My analog trunk is delivered to me via a SPA122 and I’ve confirmed dialtone at the unit. I’ve also confirmed dialtone is going into the Sangoma card. I haven’t tried reseating the card, though I don’t think that’s what the issue is. I’ve also tried a command line update via “yum update”, though no updates where available.

In module admin, I can’t up date Zulu to the latest release until the user manager module is updated, which doesn’t appear to be ready for download.

Current PBX Version:14.0.3.17

No such label 'Array' in extension 'recordcheck' in context 'sub-record-check'

Hey, after the migration from Distro 6 to SNG 7 (clean install and manual migration of configs), I get the Warning messages for “Catch All” scenario.

The “catch all” inbound route is set to terminate the call with busy tone, but the execution stops in sub-record-check context with a warning that there is no label called “Array”.

Full log is here: https://pastebin.freepbx.org/view/091eb6cf

Could you please tell me, how to handle the inbound calls to unspecified DID correctly in SNG7?

Thank you in advance.

Reading Avaya SIP Data Into A Variable

The above is just an example, but I am getting similar SIP messaging. My goal is to pull the “Call-ID” field, I would like to grab and store the value as a variable ($ACUID) for the current call. I want to route based on the data I receive.

I believe I can do this with the sip_header command from the dial plan, but am not sure where to go from there.

This is all a little new to me. I was hoping someone could help guide me.

Twilio Inbound Issue

@PBXUser1234 wrote:

The Twilio/FreePBX config guide tells you to configure everything with a PJSIP driver, but I’ve had so many issues with it that I decided to try to switch to the SIP driver.

I’m trying to setup secure trunking (TLS) and I have everything working except for inbound calls. I have 4 different trunks setup (each with a different IP for each Twilio server), but every time that I make an inbound call, it keep saying “Rejecting unknown SIP connection from 54.172.60.3” (IP address changes). So it is acting as if it’s not looking at the trunks for the IPs that I have configured.

The only way that I can get it to accept incoming calls is to configure “allow anonymous inbound” which I don’t want to do due to the obvious security concerns. Please let me know if you know of any ideas to get this working without enabling anonymous connections.

Here’s an example of one of the inbound trunk configs:

type=peer
host=54.172.60.3
context=from-pstn-e164-us
insecure=invite
qualify=yes
transport=tls
encryption=yes

If I check the time either through time conditions or through the cli I see the correct time. However when a call comes in it routes to the wrong place. I checked the asterisk logfiles and found this

TIMENOW: 19:30,Mon,24,Sep

Which is 4hr ahead. Why would the asterisk logfiles give the wrong time but the systems seems the correct time?

Hylafax+, IAXModem, & PRI

@dbaddorf wrote:

Hello!

I have been using Hylafax+ and IAXModem for years on FreePBX/Asterisk systems to send faxes over a PRI. It’s worked very well. The last system that I put in was using the FreePBX Distro 10.13.66-64bit (FreePBX 13, Linux 6.6, and Asterisk 13).

Now I am trying to get this setup to work with the latest FreePBX Distro (running Sangoma Linux 7.5, Asterisk 13, IAXModem 1.3.0, hylafax±client-5.6.0-1.el7.x86_64, and hylafax±5.6.0-1.el7.x86_64). When I try to send a fax I get messages like “no response to pps repeated 3 times” or “COMREC invalid response received to PPS”.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what could be causing this? I’d certainly be glad for any input!

Thanks! Dave

The log shows some errors, but dont know if that is related.
Anyone that could point me in the right direction?

I’m beginning to notice on multiple systems that if I have module and system automatic updates set to yes the modules don’t actually update themselves at the time period I have chosen. Is anyone else checking to see if the automatic updates are being done?

Aastra phones beeping

Aastra phones make a beep sound 20 seconds after i Apply Config on my Free PBX portal

Currently running FreePBX 13.0.195.12.

We have Sangoma’s and Aastra’s in our environment and it seems that only the older Aastras are making the beep sound. I believe its the 57i models.

Any ideas how to fix this as my users are becoming unhappy.

Trunk order in freepbx

Hello!

I’m back again. So far, everything is going pretty well, but I’m having an annoying problem. With my local telephone company, I have to use them for SIP trunking, I can’t use anyone else because I can’t port the numbers out.

Anyway, in order for them to work, I had to separate the trunks, into an In trunk, and an Out trunk. This was due to authentication. When they were together as one trunk, the inbound side was trying to force authentication, and inbound needs to be unauthenticated, but outbound needs to be authenticated.

The problem I have now, is that sometimes freepbx gets confused, and tries the out trunk for inbound, and then calls fail, because in the trunk listing, out is listed first. I can fix it, by disabling the out trunk, reloading, then re-enabling that trunk, and reloading again. It puts it in the right order then. But if I reload asterisk at a later point, it breaks again until I repeat that process. Is there a way to simply re-order the trunks, without deleting them so that it’s In and then Out instead of Out and In.

Thanks!

I’ve followed the online wiki step by step starting with the server install and moving to the client. I have my certificate generated but when I log in as a zulu user I keep getting a Cannot access Server error. I checked the Zulu logfiles and see no attempts at login. Are there other logfiles I could check to see why my user can’t login?

History Redial

@dporter2016 wrote:

Probably simple answer…have outbound call patterns set to 1NXXXXXXXXX for long distance and NXXXXXX (no need to dial 9). However when a long distance call comes in and the user wants to go to History to redial, the 1 is not there. At the local level, the area code shows up in the history. Consequently, the user must manually redial the number, both locally and long distance wise instead of just ‘sending’ the call. I am sure it is an adjustment to call patterns.
