I’ve been using @lgaetz’s CMCHECK and CMADD scripts for a couple of years now; and they work great! The list of numbrs has gotten quite lengthy - many of these numbers, I do not know what they are by looking at them (“Whitelist” as Display Name and the telephone #)
I also have other groups in external within Contact Manager, and have been considering using this as a Superfecta Look-up Source.
One of my thoughts was to have the CMADD script perform a CNAM Lookup to store the name of the whitelisted number. This could potentially solve both of the above; hovehowever, I have not been able to do so successfully yet. I am not a scripting person by any means, but I will tinker on occasion - I’m probably more dangerous than I am effective, hence why I am reaching out to the community.
Has anyone else attempted this, or is it even possible without a major change to CMADD?
