Hi,
I have enabled the Chan Spy feature to monitor agents in a queue.
The issue is that when there are no calls in the queue the manager can spy on everyone in the company who is using the phone.
How can i limit the Chan Spy to a curtain queue?
The system is latest PBXact
Thank you

Calling softphone from IP phone over VPN

@Chriscol91 wrote:

Hi Can you help, this seems a bit of a weird one, I have just setup a new FreePBX server, all extensions are installed and in testing I can call from IP phone to IP phone and from Soft Phone to Soft Phone, so here is the twist, I can call from a soft phone that is connected to the VPN to a IP phone / Soft Phone in the office, but when an IP phone / soft phone in the office call the soft phone connected on the VPN the soft phone doesn’t ring. I have dropped the firewall on the PBX but no joy.

Any ideas?

Thanks

If the initial event is on the first Monday of the month, will all subsequent events be on the first Monday?

That is what it implies to me, but the wiki doens’t mention anything about it.

Editing Calendar event loads wrong

So I created New year’s day and set it as a yearly reoccurring event. All good.

Except when I clicked to edit it to add a category I forgot, it said daily and I did not notice. Clicked submit, and boom, it was daily. Edited it again, changed it to yearly and submitted, and it fixed it. It is correct in the database.

But every time I open it now, I see daily.

Purged the browser and it loads correctly. I run Firefox on Fedora 29+Cinnamon. I do not typically have problems with the browser caching weirdly.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I would assume that it should not show at all when I specifically select only certain categories that does not include that category, but it does.

I did not select mf85

FreePBX 13.0.195.4 inbound routing

@Ponos wrote:

Hello FreePBX Community,

Installation: FreePBX 13.0.195.4

I have an issue whereby I am unable to route incoming calls based on caller ID. It appeared to me that the provider was just sending the main trunk number regardless of which DID I called.

The provider came back with the following:

"Hi Nick its looks like they are interpreting REQUEST_URI incorrectly , number in To Header is ok but in request_uri number is 02895870100. which they had used as contact address when they registered the PBX . Please can you ask them to use same sipusername as contact address too when they register PBX ? then try test calls "

I am not clear where to check this, is it in SIP settings and perhaps related to the registration string?

When i go to vega management module and just resubmit the config it would register and again after few min will unregister.

Just setup my PBX server, with TDM410P PSTN Card (2 - Fxo’s & 2 - Fxs’s)
every thing works fine when the setup connected to land phone line.

But when i connected the telephone line (RJ11 Line) got from Huawei B315 4G Router to Fxo port it doesn’t work. How to troubleshoot this?

(Are there any additional configurations for telephone lines connected via 4G routers?)

I am looking for a simple and cheap way to use FreePBX as something like a voicemail to forward my cell phone calls too. I don’t mind paying for a number but I’d prefer not to of course but am wondering if I need one if all it will do is receive calls I forward to it and save the audio. I am completely new to PBX systems and am trying to learn. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Hi,
First thanks for reading.
I am considering freePBX for my office. We currently have a 25 year old toshiba system.
Phones are similar to Toshiba DKT2010-SD. It has a feature that we really like. When a call comes in, Mark answers, the caller asks for Joe, Mark can hit transfer and dial Joe’s extension. On joes end there is a loud beep/tone, at that point, both joe and mark are joined like an intercom /speaker. If mark wants the caller joe simply hangs up, and it rings on Marks end, he can answer or let it go to voice mail. If mark does not want it, Joe hits transfer again and takes the call back.
What is important, is the tone that announces joe on the intercom and the fact that the transfer does not automatically go to speaker, but rings first.
Hope this was clear.
Thanks
